The White Louvres Tower
The White Louvres Tower is a 5-story office building planned for construction in Manchester, UK. The design is distinguished by clarity of expression: an elegant, geometric glass volume encasing a stack of vertical louvres installed at varying intervals, creating a vibrant pattern and tempo. At ground level, the lobby, reception, and a café provide public spaces.

The outcome is a kinetic façade, environmentally responsive and composed of various glass systems and transparencies. At once, it satisfies workplace preferences and enhances the architectural impact and influence in a newly expanding area of the city. The large, open-floor layout allows customizable floor planning for a variety of purposes, including co-work spaces and offices.
OPEN SPACE CONFIGURATION
The open gallery strategy makes possible a run-through configuration for all flats, an intrinsic quality allowing space expansion, clearance of corridors, as well as simple and effective natural ventilation.
The balconies protect the shutters and the woodwork by setting them back from bad weather.
