Responsibilities

  • Identify, initiate, and nurture business relationships with real-estate developers and architecture firms across the state

  • Generate sales opportunities

  • Build and maintain relationships with key prospects, decision-makers, and channel partners

  • Work closely with local and global team members, including architects, designers, marketing, product, and developers to understand and convey customer needs

  • Lead sales activities from initial contact to closure

  • Represent SWAPP at conferences and industry events

  • Travel within the state and US as required

The Ideal Candidate

  • At least 5 years of sales/Business Development experience in architectural and/or real estate domains with documented examples of closing targeted customers and/or projects

  • Preference to experience with architecture, real estate development, or PropTech / ConTech companies

  • Experience in growing sustainable revenues within a customer base

  • Successful track record of sales with large, complex customers particularly with the developers, brokers, and architecture firms within Texas

  • Proven track record of building relationships, preparing and delivering presentations, and negotiating at the senior level

  • Capable of engaging in business and technical conversations at multiple levels within client organizations

  • Self-starter who is highly motivated and driven to succeed

  • Permanent US residency or US citizenship

  • Ability to travel 25-50% of the time.
